Bonnie Rauch in the Lee Group Newport News office Tuesday May 31, 2022.

Behind the scenes is where Bonnie Rauch feels most comfortable.

The Hampton native and graduate of Bethel High joined Lee Group Search as a Research Associate in May 2022.

Rauch’s former professional experience includes managerial roles at Ben & Jerry’s (two scoops of Cinnamon Bun Dough for her, please!) and Starbucks (iced white mocha with vanilla and three shots of espresso is her go-to).

From there, she worked in client relations at Morgan James Publishing and as an executive assistant to the principal broker at Liz Moore & Associates.

Rauch is excited for the fit she found at Lee Group Search, the executive recruitment firm that connects people to companies and candidates to positions.

“It’s a great opportunity,” she said. “I do the legwork of finding potential candidates for us to interview and place in permanent positions.”

After high school, Rauch considered a future in interior design but found business management more to her liking after taking classes at both Virginia Tech and Christopher Newport University. She’s balanced her professional aspirations with home schooling her daughters, Erin, 21, and Piper, 17.

During her off hours, Rauch is likely spending time with Erin and Piper. The family enjoys the beach along with Busch Gardens and Water County. Rauch is also active in her church, loves to dance and is excellent with a camera.

As the newcomer at Lee Group Search, she added, “I look forward to being an instrument of positive change in the lives of others.”
